Our newest Addition: JAMIE Jamie and Parker are from the same litter of Wags! (July 27, 2000)
All of our Goldens (5 since 1989) on this page have come from
High Hopes Goldens in Hanover, Massachusetts.
Let us know if you'd like to contact Ann Gredler for your next puppy!
We recently had to say goodbye to our good friend and companion Wags. She was a beauty, as Daryl told her many times - that face, those wonderful eyes, and her unusually thick ears. She adored having people pet her, and had her way of saying "Don't stop." She was a skilled and persistent beggar, and really knew how to work the breakfast room. And she certainly enjoyed the comfort of a good sofa, whether a Victorian antique, or a plush modern version. Most of all, she loved being at home with her people and Parker.

Loving God, you have created the world and populated it with an abundance of marvelous creatures, each unique. Receive Wags, your loving creature, into the courts and gardens of your heavenly dwelling place. Let her heart and soul ring out in eternal joy and play with you. Amen.

Wags was born April 7, 1995

Missy Elliott
04/1993 - 04/2004
She was Wags' mother (Parker's grandma).

Missy was our pumpkin--Daryl's pal and
constant companion on his rounds of our
Bed and Breakfasts.  She couldn't wait
to bounce out the door and jump into the
van to accompany him on the early morning
chores or organ practice at various
churches.  She endured Parker's constant
taunting, but protected him and Wags from
other dogs on our walks around Jamaica Pond.
Missy totally enjoyed breakfast with
guests every morning and watching The
Ellen Degeneres Show with Dave.
We miss her dearly.

Corey was the original Taylor House
Golden Retriever.
12/1988 - 05/2001
He enjoyed greeting guests, but was not very
consistent.  (Sometimes naps interfered.)
He was very gentle and quiet.
Occasionally, he barked.
(Perhaps once every other year.)
He LOVED to sleep and EAT!
Although usually the last one up
in the morning, he managed never
to miss breakfast. Even if doorways
were blocked, he'd go up one staircase
and down another to find
his way to the breakfast room.

Corey celebrated his 12th birthday
on December 13, 2000.
He was always great at parties.

Corey passed away on Sunday of
Memorial Day weekend,
May 27, 2001.
