Finally, in spring of 1997,
we tackled the landscaping.

We decided that all cement
would be replaced with
brick and a path needed
to go around the house
connecting all sections of
the yard.  Keep as
little grass as possible.

The first quick fix was
brick in the front framed
by boxwoods to
display the annuals
and the rest of the
yard would hope to
become perennials.

Annuals you have to
plant every year.
Perennials last from
year to year.
Something Dave learned
along the way.  We
LOVE perennials.
